Ron Silliman has a blog, and in it he reviews Hellboy, calling the film "a guilty pleasure for a world in which guilt itself is no longer palpable, and it would be easy to despair." Which is a bit bleaker than my assessment, but other than that (and the focus on language poetry) our views aren't that dissimilar.
