Note to Self: France Joke Here (Jerry Lewis?)

by Ron Hogan

The Telegraph has word on a new novel by a French literary professor who has written a novel, under the pseudonym "Michel Thaler," without a single verb in it. M. Thaler apparently had no room for verbs because he was already full of himself:

"My book is a revolution in the history of literature. It is the first book of its kind. It's daring, modern and is to literature what the great Dada and Surrealist movements were to art...I am like a car driver who has smashed the windscreen so he cannot see into the future, smashed the rear-view mirror so he cannot see the past, and is travelling in the present."

Additional note to self: consider joke about airbag here.
