"You Are Not as Normal as You Think You Are"

It's not particularly literary, but I just like finding out that Alex Kuczynski wastes as much time online playing backgammon as I do reading bookblogs and searching for cool MP3s. But I want to know how much of the following derives from personal experience and how much is just received wisdom:
