Would You Buy a Book from This Man?

That's me on the left, in the official author photo taken by Miriam Berkley last month for The Stewardess Is Flying the Plane. About which I've got new reason to be psyched; apparently the designer's turned in his complete draft, so I get to go into the Time-Life Building later this week and make sure all the pictures I want made it into the pages. In the meantime, at the risk of sounding gee-whiz, it's a really nifty feeling to have a "real author photo" that you know is going to appear on the jacket of your real book, and out of the rolls of film we shot, I really like this image a lot for (a) catching the kinder, gentler side of the "Fox News Glaredown," but especially (b) not making my cheeks look so fat that they swallow up my chin.
