Longtime readers may want to skip this entry... But for those of you who may have recently discovered Beatrice and are curious about that "book review review," the ever-so-cleverly named Beatrix is put together over at ArtsJournal.com. When I started two months ago, I tried to write something every weekday, but I've been doing so many book reviews of my own lately that I haven't had as much time to critique everybody else's. Especially since I've been doing my best to maintain the mix of observed stories, commentary, reports from the literary scene, and assorted forms of guest author input that I put together here. You've come at a fortuitous time: not only do I have a string of great "Author2Author" pieces coming up in April, I'm doing all sorts of fun things for National Poetry Month again this year.
