Literary Potlatch Goes Digital

I met with Mitchell Silverman several months ago to learn about a website he was developing called Bookins.com, where members would be able to swap the books they no longer want for some new stuff they'd like to read, without having to deal with all the logistical hassles. Well, it's up and running, in beta mode, and if you follow that link to it and then sign up, you'll get some bonus points which you can then use towards new reading material. (See, it's all based on points, so, to make up an example out of thin air, it'd take a bunch of mass-market paperbacks to equal one hardcover...)
