Slight change of plans, folks: I'll be taking over the wheel at Galleycat for the rest of the week. But I should be able to squeeze in a few items here, too.

After all, how could any blogger of my generation not mention that S.E. Hinton breaks the wall of silence in today's NYT? I expect to see a whole lot of my readers at whatever New York theater is showing the director's cut of The Outsiders this weekend (and for the rest of you, there's the new DVD).

For that matter, how could I not mention a George Saunders interview, conducted by Roy Kesey for Maud Newton's blog?
