Curious About Our New Appearance?

This weekend, I stumbled onto a web page describing an energy-efficient web color palette called Emergy-C, which "uses only about 3 or 4 watts more than a completely black screen," according to its designer, at least on devices with CRT monitors, plasma screens, or OLED technology. I liked the concept so much, I tinkered around with the Beatrice stylesheet until I found a look I liked... and here it is. Unless of course you're reading this through the RSS feed.
